Points

The two balances on oripa.cards — Reward Points you spend on real products, and XP that tracks your progression.

oripa.cards tracks two separate balances on your account. They are not interchangeable, they are earned in different ways, and they are used for very different things.

  • Reward Points (RP) — a spendable balance you redeem for real products in the Reward Shop.
  • Experience Points (XP) — your progression score. Earned-only, never spent.

Reward Points (RP)

Reward Points are the spendable currency on oripa.cards. Most packs reward RP rather than a card, so RP is the result you will see most often when you open packs.

How you earn RP

  • Opening packs. Every pack is pre-assigned a result. When that result is not a card, it is Reward Points, credited straight to your balance.

Your current RP balance is shown at the top of the Reward Shop.

What RP is for

Reward Points are redeemed for real, physical products in the Reward Shop. You add items to your cart, check out with your RP balance, and we ship them to you. Today you can claim:

  • Sealed products — sealed booster boxes, packs, and other factory-sealed product.
  • Guards — protective supplies for your cards.
  • Slabs — graded, professionally sealed cards.

…and more product types are added over time. The catalog is not fixed — the Reward Shop expands, so what RP can claim today is a floor, not a ceiling.

RP is straightforward by design: you earn it from packs, and you spend it on things you actually receive. There is no ambiguity about what a Reward Point is worth — it is worth whatever it claims in the shop.

Redeeming RP

  1. Open the Reward Shop.
  2. Browse the catalog and add products to your cart.
  3. Check out — your RP balance is charged and the redemption is confirmed.
  4. We ship your products to you — you provide delivery details at the shipping step, the same way you ship a card you pulled.

You can track redeemed orders under the Orders tab in the shop.

Experience Points (XP)

XP is different. XP is your progression score on oripa.cards — a running record of how much you have played.

How you earn XP

You earn XP from activity across the platform:

  • Every paid pack open earns XP — whether the pack reveals a card or Reward Points.
  • Quests and other activity earn XP over time.

What XP is for

XP is earned-only. You cannot spend it, trade it, or cash it out, and it does not get consumed by anything in the shop. It only accumulates.

So what is it for?

For now, XP builds your player level — a permanent, on-account measure of how early and how active you have been. It is a record that cannot be bought, only earned through play.

We are intentionally not saying more about where XP leads. The players accumulating XP today are building a position in something that has not been fully revealed yet. XP is earned-only and it never resets — every point you bank now is banked permanently.

Read into that what you like. The people paying attention tend to keep their XP climbing.

The short version

RP is for claiming real products, today, with no ambiguity. XP is for the long game — keep earning it.
